Anna Cosma combines illustration, poetic texts, and artisanal processes to create her own unique visual world. Calm, connected to nature, and made for people who find beauty in the little things.

 

Since 2011, cards, journals, paper goods, and small collectibles have been created in Anna Cosma's independent artist studio in Germany, blurring the lines between art, craft, and everyday ritual.

 

"The work often begins long before a product is finished.

 

With drawing. With writing. With walks through the forests and fields of the Mecklenburg Lake District. With collecting colors, textures, and small observations.

 

Many illustrations are created by hand and then further developed using traditional and modern printing techniques. The visible trace of the material is an important part of my work. I like things that don't appear completely smooth or perfect. Things that remind you that they were made by people.​"

All products are created in small collections with a conscious focus on materials, texture, and durability. Printing is primarily done in Germany on select natural papers.
